Planter closing wheel inserts to replace your OEM rubber planter closing wheels. These insert rings can be ordered in a complete closing wheel for your planter ready to bolt on. New for 2024 a solid steel closing wheel and steel hub with bearing pressed in. Closing wheel rings and solid wheels are made from AR 500 steel. These planter closing wheels have a backswept tooth design which helps fracture the side wall while not wrapping up in cover crops. The AR500 design will far outlast the plastic wheels on the market. Our closing wheels are compatible with the following planter manufactures John Deere ME+, XP, ME5, Exact; Kinze; White 8000 and 9000; Great Plains; CaseIH air seeders. Closing wheel rings weigh 4.25# each, complete plastic half closing wheels weigh 6.50# each and complete steel closing wheel and hub weigh 16# each.
